Rules and Regulations
2025 BHE1 Fall Season
On behalf of B.H.E. we would like to thank all of you for making our League one of the strongest in all of Canada.
TEAM ROSTERS:
Teams are allowed a Maximum 25 man Roster. Players are only allowed to Roster with one team for the season, including Playoffs. Runners will have needed to play a minimum of 5regular season games to qualify for Playoffs. Goaltenders require 1 regular season game to qualify for Playoffs. Only Rostered Players are eligible for Playoffs.
Emergency goalies will be allowed from teams within your division or lower. Division 12/13/14 teams are permitted to use goalies from Division 12/13/14.
Emergency Goalies are allowed during the REGULAR SEASON only.
We are allowing teams 5 Affiliate Players from the same or lower division. These 5 Affiliate Players are only eligible for Regular Season, and they must be rostered on a Team within the league. Once a player is declared an affiliate player he cannot be released and signed to another team. Any player caught playing on multiple teams and not designated as an affiliate player will result in a multiple game suspension.
Players must be minimum 16 years old to be eligible to play during the 2025 Fall season.
Fall 2025 Roster Freeze: Sunday, September 28th - 11:30pm.
INELIGIBLE PLAYERS:
Any team caught playing with a player under a different name or playing on another team, other than an emergency goalie pickup, will be an automatic forfeit. The offending player will receive a multi game suspension for first offence and suspension to be reviewed for second offence.
During the regular season any team dressing ineligible player, will forfeit the game they were playing in. In playoffs, any team dressing an ineligible player will face review and face discipline as far as forfeiting the remainder of their playoffs.
PLAYOFF PLAYER ELIGIBILITY:
Players must have played 4 games (25% of the season) to be playoff eligible, goaltenders need one game played to be eligible. There are absolute zero affiliate players or emergency goalies permitted in playoffs. If a goaltender injury or long term absence occurs, a team may apply for an injury and/or long term goaltender exemption to be reviewed.
