The Raging Bulls put on an absolute clinic Monday night, rolling over the Thirsty Pigeons with a dominant 10-3 victory that was never in doubt. From the opening period, the Bulls showcased their offensive firepower, with #67 Geoff Tracey striking first at 12:35 of the first period thanks to a feed from #38 Liam Skitch. Just three minutes later, Skitch got one of his own, burying a chance set up by #95 James Patterson and #56 Jason Cormier. Before the Pigeons could catch their breath, Tracey struck again at 9:33, making it 3-0 with Skitch picking up his second assist of the night.
The second period saw the Bulls’ depth on full display as they exploded for four more goals. #22 Sam Donaghey capitalized on a power play opportunity at 10:24 with assists from #31 Kevin Robbins and #14 Dallas Merkler. Rookie #93 Chase Cormier then joined the party, scoring his first of the night at 8:00, again with help from Merkler and Robbins. Patterson added his own tally at 6:58 off a feed from Cormier, leaving the Pigeons reeling. However, Thirsty Pigeons showed brief signs of life when #16 Michael Bernstein finally got them on the board at 5:27 with help from #86 Mark Girout. Bernstein then turned provider, setting up #10 Samy Seifeddine at 3:12 before Girout netted one himself at 0:38 to cut the deficit to 7-3 heading into the final frame.
The third period belonged entirely to Chase Cormier. The #93 put on a show, completing his hat trick with three consecutive even-strength goals at 10:28, 9:08, and 3:49. Merkler and Robbins each collected assists on two of those tallies, cementing their spots as key playmakers in the rout. Goaltender #35 Dave Yarham stood tall for the Bulls, earning the win despite not facing heavy traffic until the Pigeons’ late push. On the other end, #31 Zach Cartier struggled in net for the Pigeons, unable to find an answer for the Bulls’ relentless attack as their losing streak continues.
