2025 Spring/Summer Team Info Package
BHE1 is pleased to announce details for our 2025 Spring/Summer League season!
Full details for the Spring/Summer League are in this attachment, along with a blank team application form and a credit card authorization form for your convenience should you choose to use it.
The 2025 Spring/Summer League will start mid April and will run until into late July.
Teams are allowed a Maximum 25 man Roster. Players are only allowed to Roster with one team for the season, including Playoffs. Runners will have needed to play a minimum of 5 regular season games to qualify for Playoffs. Goaltenders require 1 regular season game to qualify for Playoffs. Only Rostered Players are eligible for Playoffs. Rosters will be frozen at a date to be determined.
Emergency goalies will be allowed from teams within your division or lower and are allowed during the REGULAR SEASON only.
We are allowing teams 5 Affiliate Players from the same or lower division. These 5 Affiliate Players are only eligible for Regular Season, and they must be rostered on a Team within the league. Once a player is declared an affiliate player he cannot be released and signed to another team.
Space will be limited, so if you are interested, you will have to act quickly if your team wants to register as we have already received a lot if interest of teams wanting to play. Men’s teams who were loyal to BHE1 this past year will have first right of refusal.
The entry fee has been set at $4185.71 plus G.S.T. of $209.29, Total $4,395.00 per team for SPRING/SUMMER 2025 season.
Price increase in 2025, from 2024 is cover the increase in floor time rentals from ESAF (Edmonton Soccer Assocation Facilities) & the increase in our insurance through Ball Hockey Alberta (BHA) & Canada Ball Hockey Association (CBHA).
This fee covers all players and team reps with Membership in CBHA as well as Alberta Ball Hockey, with full accident and liability insurance, as we will be getting our coverage through Canada Ball Hockey.
Teams will be guaranteed 20 regular season games, plus playoffs if qualify.
Fees will be accepted via E-Transfers, Credit Card Payments or Cash. All credit card payments will have a 2.5% processing fee added.
Space is limited, so, if you are interested in putting in a team, don’t wait. A $500 deposit that will be put towards your first payment will save your spot now.
Registration deadline dates are listed as follows:
SPRING/SUMMER 2025 Season
-1st payment ... $ 500.00 is due March 14 - 2025
-2nd payment ... $ 1,900.00 is due April 4 - 2025
-3rd payment ... $ 1,995.00 is due May 16 - 2025
Fees must be paid as per the payment schedule as we have to pay ESAF up front.
All other details are listed on the second page of this package. The third page is a blank registration form that must be handed in with your first registration payment.

PLAYOFFS: There will be a 10 minute Stop time 5on5 OT Period. If still tied, have 5 minutes of 4on4 OT. If still tied, we will have 5 minutes of 3on3 OT. If still tied, we will have a 1 man sudden death shootout.
